coffee talk

I just sat down to shoot out a few words about something close to my heart.

What I am about to say here should not be taken lightly and you, yourself, should be sure to take a seat…

I love coffee!

I know. H e a v y!

It was not until a few moments ago that I realized I’ve never written an entire post just about the amazing coffee I serve here.

It deserves more than a post, and for that I am truly sorry, so from now on I would like to do my part to remedy the situation.

Every week I am going to post a dazzling new coffee beverage complete with recipes and perhaps a picture if you behave. I’d like to get more people on board with trying strange combinations and more importantly proving that there is something for everyone.

I hear too often that people DON’T like coffee.

Is that possible?

I, for one, think they are liars.

I think it’s highly likely that they have yet to try a coffee beverage that has appealed to them (because they obviously figured out that the worst part of waking up is _olg_rs in your cup), but for heaven’s sake, let me give it a go before you run off and decide coffee is not for you.

In the meantime, sneaky pete’s, you can look forward to viewing the fruits of my love and labor when I unleash the recipe for Brew Awakenings first ever tantalizing, tasty Coffee treat Of The Week right here sometime tomorrow.

WoW, don't offer if you can't make it happen. Look don't mean to shoot my mouth, well... actually I do, why would you offer "a dazzling new coffee beverage complete with recipes and perhaps a picture" and then not deliver? I know, "I am muy lazy when it comes to this coffee of the week deal". I read your blog regularly ... but really why not offer this. Not everyone that reads this blog is a local customer. Some of us might never visit your establishment. Not because we don't want to, but because it may not be practical to travel large distances or cross state lines to visit a coffee shop. So you won't be losing business. Seriously, I think you should revisit this. Not only will it bring traffic to your site from random recipe hunters but it will give us long distance Brew Awakening fans a taste of what we are missing not being local. The decision is yours of course and I hope you don't take this comment as a negative or a personal attack. I just think you might have something here, as a fan, I believe you might be passing up something that will add to the overall ambiance of your blog and business. Just a thought.
