Esmeralda Microlot: The Best Coffee Ever?

If you are a coffee snob or just pretend to be one, then chances are you’ve at least heard about the legend that is Esmeralda coffee.
This stuff get’s auctioned off for up to $100’s of dollars per pound and people say it’s worth it. I would certainly like to know what all the fuss is about, but I am not willing to dish out $35 for 8 ounces of it, so I will have to just keep on wondering. Perhaps one year I will have to conisder taking donations so that I can share what I’ve tasted with all of you.
I am not quite sure how many of you out there actually read this blog for coffee content, but those of you that care will be sure to take my opinion as the absolute truth. Seriously.
Counter Culture Coffee has tons of new coffee’s to offer this year aside from the Esmeralda they acquired and many of those are within my budget so I will have to make sure that I update all of you when I get a few of those in! Not to mention their seasonal blend which I am sure will be delicious!
I also meant to tell you all that Grizzly Bear was absolutely stunning last night.
I hope they come back soon seeing as how they are already working on new material! I love them. They should know that and so should you.
