Hypemachine+Twitter=Miracle

image post

I am one of the few that has yet to fall in love with twitter. I can’t say that I don’t get it, but I do know for a fact that I don’t care what kind of scrub you’re using on your feet at 2am.

It’s the senseless, inane comments that pour in that kept me from enjoying it. That was until I found out that I could link my twitter account to my hypemachine account…

I am in love with the site hypemachine. Not only can you build a playlist of songs that you’ve ‘loved’, but it’s aesthetically pleasing and ridiculously easy to use. I am always in search of new music and this site has proved to be a great way to do that. I play a large assortment of amazing music here in the store and people have come to expect a certain level of creativity and surprise to my playlists and that is made easier with the help of music blogs all over the world. It’s important that I implement as much of the music scene here in the store as I would in my life and being able to bring those two together (and quite seamlessly) has been marvelous.

Anyone that would want to keep up with what I am digging musically should follow me on twitter: brewawake

This is a super short post, but don’t think it means I love you any less.

ciao

It's such a shame that most people get this impression about Twitter.

"I can’t say that I don’t get it, but I do know for a fact that I don’t care what kind of scrub you’re using on your feet at 2am." - Extracted from Post.

In reallity, Twitter is so much more than this. As stated by Edward Boches (http://bit.ly/32Cim4), Twitter is not another Facebook. It's not about connecting with lost friends or letting your virtual posse know what you're up to. It's not simply a source of breaking news à la US Airways Flight 1549. And despite the fact that it blows Google away as a real-time search engine, even that barely begins to describe Twitter's true potential.

As a business owner, Twitter can be your friend, I am so glad that you have found a way Twitter can help your business. You will find that Twitter is so much more than your initial understanding of the platform. Research other ways Twitter can be used as the potential is really endless.
